Inflammatory Disease Models for TME Research

Relying on the tumor microenvironment center technology platform, Alfa Cytology provides customized services for animal models of inflammatory diseases for TME research, helping researchers successfully achieve their research goals.

Introduction

Inflammation is the basic response to tissue damage and pathogen invasion. Cytokines secreted by leukocytes (e.g. IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α, etc.) play an important role in inflammatory diseases. The tumor microenvironment is generally a chronic inflammatory environment with massive infiltration of inflammation-associated cells. Among them, the diversity of inflammatory cells and inflammation-associated factors together with tumor cells and stromal cells constitute a complex regulatory network. In different stages of tumorigenesis and development, the same cell type or the same cytokine plays different and sometimes even opposite roles in tumor development. Therefore, many new anti-inflammatory drugs are developed by mechanisms that hit the signaling pathways that target the expression, secretion and inflammatory response of important cytokines. At the same time, inflammatory disease models are ideal tools for exploring tumor formation and development, as well as changes in the tumor microenvironment.

Services

At Alfa Cytology, we have established a mature tumor microenvironment center technology platform with a group of experienced tumor model customization experts and proven technologies designed to provide our global customers with efficient and validated tumor models for tumor and microenvironment research and antitumor drug discovery.

Alfa Cytology has broken down experimental and technical barriers and established dozens of animal models of inflammatory diseases according to international standards for our clients to study related mechanistic topics.
